General Questions

We are located in Littlehampton with a large, private off-road training facility and easy transport links.

Yes. You should have a good working knowledge of the Highway Code and UK traffic signs. If an instructor feels your lack of road knowledge makes you a danger to yourself or others, they may have to stop the training for safety reasons.

Not at all, as long as you wear them during the training. You must be able to read a standard UK number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres. We will perform a quick eyesight check at the start of every course.

There is very limited parking onsite, there is however free parking on Ferry Road, which is just outside the main gate.

Your driving licence, some lunch/snack and a positive mental attitude.

We understand that plans change. We require 7 working days notice to reschedule or cancel a booking. Please refer to our full Terms & Conditions for details on short-notice cancellations.

CBT Questions

For the CBT, you’ll ride our new Honda CB125s or automatic scooters.

Once you have your CBT certificate, you will be allowed to a motorcycle up to a 125cc (If 17+) with L-plates. You will not be allow to ride on a motorway or carry a passenger. The CBT will last for 2 years.

Legally, yes—a CBT certificate covers both manual and automatic motorcycles up to 125cc. However, if you’ve never used a clutch, we strongly recommend booking a Gear Conversion session before attempting to ride a manual bike on the road.

Your DL196 (CBT certificate) is valid for two years. If you haven’t passed your full motorcycle test within those two years, you must retake the CBT to continue riding legally on the road.

No, you don’t need a theory certificate to take your CBT. However, you must pass the motorcycle theory test before you can book your Module 1 or Module 2 practical exams for a full licence.

Yes, provided it is roadworthy, taxed, insured, and displays full-size ‘L’ plates.

The CBT is a training course, not a “pass/fail” test. If our instructors feel you need more time to be safe on the road, we will invite you back for further training. Your safety is our priority, and we want you to feel confident before heading out alone.

On the CBT we cover the cost of the fuel, so once you have paid for your course, you do not need to pay for anything else.

DAS Questions (Direct Access A2 / A Licence)

For the DAS, you’ll ride our new Kawasaki z650. These are suitable for both A2 and the A2 tests

Once you have the valid CBT and a Theory pass certificate, you will need to pass Mod 1 and Mod 2. Mod 1 is in a large off-road training area where you will have to do various manoeuvres. Mod 2 is the road ride, with an examiner behind you. Once passed, the new entitlements would be added to your licence.

Yes, on a DAS course, you will be responsible for the fuel. The bike will be full on the first day of training.

You’ll need a valid CBT and a Theory pass certificate.

Yes, we will try and ensure you have the same instructor throughout the course. This allows you to build a rapport with our instructor and also for the instructor to know your better.

We’ll start with your Mod 1 training on the first day. After that, we’ll spend the rest of the five-day course in Burgess Hill, getting you comfortable with the roads around the test centre.

Absolutely fantastic experience with 2Moto for my CBT today! 🏍️ The instructors were brilliant, incredibly patient, friendly, funny and genuinely great at teaching. They created a relaxed atmosphere while still making sure everything was explained properly and that I felt confident and safe on the bike. You can tell they really enjoy what they do, and that makes such a difference when you’re learning. I came away feeling much more confident and with loads of useful knowledge. Highly recommend 2Moto to anyone looking to do their CBT. Fantastic instructors and a fantastic experience from start to finish!

First class training. I found Instructors Mark and Heather very professional in every aspect of the course. The course was well thought out and covered all aspects of riding a motorcycle. Would highly recommend 2Moto Training to anyone wishing to start or gain the different classes of motorcycle licenses. If you are looking to go on any motorcycle course this is the place to go. Thank you both for a great day.......

Absolutely amazing place to learn. Have never gotten on the riding side of a bike before and left confident for the road and to continue the process of completing my license. Mark is an amazing teacher, so understanding and patient as i am a ‘hands-on’ learner and couldnt of asked for a more patient teacher.
